We would also like to announce that due to the retirement of Mrs. Zelda Fink and Ms. Miriam Cass, we have decided to sell Bacti-Lab and the rights to make the Bacti-Lab products. Fortunately, we found a great fit just down the coast with the well respected culture media manufacturer, Hardy Diagnostics in Santa Maria, California.
Please be assured that Hardy Diagnostics was selected for its ability to carry on the Bacti-Lab spirit and tradition of making microbiology easy and affordable in your office practice.
Hardy Diagnostics has been a manufacturer of culture media for 29 years and is committed to providing you with the best service and products possible. They are FDA licensed and ISO certified, so you can trust the quality of their products as you enter into a new service relationship with them.
Hardy will be using all the same formulas that are familiar to you. Hardy’s plate manufacturing process is set up to produce round plates, rather than square, so you will notice a different shape, but the functionality of the media will be the same.
They will be selling all the same Bacti-lab products. The accessory items, such as the AnaeroDiscs, CO2 tablets, rapid test reagents, and identification and susceptibility disks will be available as separate products from Hardy.
In addition, Hardy Diagnostics offer over 12,000 laboratory supply items and maintains six distribution centers throughout the US to serve you. Most of Hardy’s customers enjoy either one or two day service.

From March 11th on, you will be invoiced by Hardy Diagnostics and will use the Santa Maria address listed above for your “remit to” address.
